The Origin of the wall decoration project...
It all started when I left Marseille and the Provence region, and especially Beaumont, the neighbourhood where i spent my childhood.
I left to settle in Burgundy for professional reasons.
I quickly felt an emptiness far from my loved ones, from my landmarks and from "my bubble of Armenianness".
I didn't know yet how much this uprooting would awaken in me the need to get closer to this omnipresent culture in which I had grown up.
I wanted to rediscover the values that I had been given, to become more involved in Armenian culture, and through this, to pay homage to my father, a philanthropist who left too soon.
It was in Beaune that this project took shape, from the search for symbols to the manufacturing process, it took more than 10 months to discover the first results.
Today all Armenians from here and elsewhere can proudly identify themselves and have the emblems of our ancestral lands so that they never forget.
